BW-LM came from the need to have an easy method to add, change and
delete links and URLs in a development environment, without the need to "hack" the local intranet web site code.
BW-LM provides settings menus and URL links in sections.
A further consideration is to have a common method to link to locally installed tools
(e.g. WebSVN, Database tools, Regex testers, etc).
BW-LM also provides a methods for displaying only the necessary content for each user or group.
A user can log into BW-LM.
Each user can be a member of a number of groups
and so allows content set for group/s to display the appropriate links.
A user also be an administrator or a group manager.
The Users Manual has more details on the BW-LM.
As BW-LM has been useful, BRAEWORKS has released BW-LM to the
public domain under the GNU General Public License, version 2.
You are free to install, share and change BW-LM as needs be.
However, BRAEWORKS suggests that code changes to the released file set be submitted back to BRAEWORKS via email, as there maybe more features added in the meantime.
The BW-LM is a sibling project to the BRAEWORKS Content Management System (CMS).
